Why Waxing Over Shaving
Precise, clean results
Wax covers and removes even short, fine hair that a razor misses.
No irritation or stubble
No razor burn, nicks, or sharp regrowth. Skin stays smooth without the post-shave itch.
Finer regrowth over time
Regular waxing gradually weakens the hair follicle, so regrowth comes in thinner and sparser.
Exfoliation with every wax
Wax lifts away dead skin cells as it removes hair, leaving skin visibly smoother and softer

Steps to Perform Our Waxing Ritual
Cleanse the skin
Use a pre-wax gel or cotton pad to remove dust, oil, sweat, and any product buildup from the skin before waxing.
Check hair length
Hair should be at least 3–5mm long for the wax to grip properly. Too short and it won't hold; too long and it can break.
Dry & dust the area
Make sure skin is completely dry. Lightly dust with powder to absorb moisture and help the wax adhere better.
Choose the right wax
Pick your wax based on skin type and the area being treated — liposoluble for sensitive skin, hot wax for coarse or stubborn hair.
Remove wax residue
Gently wipe off any leftover wax with a post-wax oil or remover. Never rub — dab softly to avoid irritating freshly waxed skin.
Calm the skin
Apply a soothing post-wax lotion or aloe-based gel to reduce redness, close pores, and calm any temporary inflammation.
Moisturise generously
Use a non-comedogenic, fragrance-free moisturiser to lock in hydration and keep skin soft and supple after waxing.
Avoid heat & friction
Skip hot showers, sunlight, tight clothing, and exercise for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation and breakouts on waxed areas.

Frequently Asked questions
Waxing typically keeps skin smooth for 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the area treated. Over time and with regular sessions, regrowth tends to slow down and come in finer.
Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers. It reduces significantly with regular sessions as hair becomes finer. To minimise pain, avoid waxing during your period, ensure hair is the right length, and always pull the strip against the direction of hair growth in one swift motion.
Yes, when you use the right formula. Look for waxes enriched with soothing ingredients like cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, or glycerin — these help reduce redness and keep skin calm during and after the process. Always do a patch test 24 hours before a full session.
Waxes infused with active ingredients like kojic acid and niacinamide can gradually fade tan and surface-level pigmentation with repeated use. These actives work by inhibiting melanin production and promoting a more even skin tone after every session.
Strip wax is applied in a thin layer and removed using a cloth or paper strip — ideal for large areas like legs and arms. Hot wax (also called stripless wax) is applied thicker, hardens on its own, and is peeled off directly. It grips the hair more firmly and is gentler on the skin, making it better suited for sensitive or intimate areas.
Ingrown hairs can occur if dead skin blocks the hair follicle during regrowth. To prevent this, exfoliate the area 2–3 days after waxing and again mid-cycle. Keeping skin moisturised also helps hair grow back to the surface naturally.
When wax is removed, it lifts not just the hair but also the top layer of dead skin cells along with it. This natural exfoliation leaves the skin noticeably smoother and softer to the touch — an added benefit you don't get with shaving or depilatory creams.
No — this is a common myth. Unlike shaving, which cuts hair at the surface and creates a blunt tip, waxing removes hair from the root. Over time, regular waxing actually weakens the follicle, resulting in finer, sparser regrowth with each session.
For the first 24–48 hours after waxing, avoid hot showers, direct sunlight, swimming pools, tight clothing, and intense exercise. Pores are open post-wax, making skin more susceptible to irritation, bacteria, and UV damage during this window.
Ideally, hair should be between 3–5mm long — about the length of a grain of rice. Too short and the wax won't grip properly; too long and it can cause more pain and breakage. If your hair is too long, trim it before waxing.
Yes. Waxes enriched with nourishing ingredients like pure honey, glycerin, cocoa butter, or vegetable oil help maintain skin hydration during the process. The exfoliation effect also removes the dull surface layer, leaving skin looking brighter and feeling softer after every session.
Most people wax every 3–6 weeks depending on their hair growth rate. Over time, as follicles weaken, the gap between sessions naturally increases. Consistency is key — regular waxing leads to progressively finer and slower regrowth
